What OlaTravel is

OlaTravel is a discovery service. We assemble a directory of travel creators from their public content (videos, blogs, guides) and use it to answer travel questions and suggest who to follow. Profiles shown before a creator claims them are not created, reviewed, or endorsed by that creator. A verified badge means only that a creator has claimed and confirmed their own profile — never that we endorse them.

How we rank and recommend

We want you to understand why you see what you see:

• AI answers retrieve creator content by meaning (semantic search over what creators actually published) and by how well it fits the specifics you asked for — a destination, a traveler type such as family or budget, an interest. Every recommendation names the creator and content it came from so you can check the source.
• The creator directory is ordered by a relevance score derived from content depth and coverage, then refined by the filters and sort you choose. You can re-sort by name or by how much a creator has published.
• No paid placement. Nobody can pay to rank higher or to appear in an AI answer. If that ever changes, any paid or sponsored placement will be labelled as such.

Content rules

Content on OlaTravel — including anything creators add once they claim a profile — must not be illegal, infringe someone's copyright or personality rights, be deceptive or fraudulent, or contain hateful, harassing, or sexual-exploitation material. We embed creators' videos only through official players on their own channels and link back to the original source; we do not re-host creators' images.

Report content or a profile

Anyone can flag content they believe is illegal, inaccurate, or shouldn't be here. Tell us the page or creator and what's wrong:

If you are a featured creator and want your profile hidden or removed, you can also request removal directly — no account needed.

How we handle reports

We review every report a person sends us. We aim to acknowledge within a few days and to act on well-founded reports promptly — creator removal requests are actioned within 72 hours. Where we can, we tell the reporter what we decided and why. Acting on a report can mean hiding a profile, removing a piece of content, or correcting information. We keep a record of what was reported and what we did.
